| Measure from inside ankle bone up to the center of the knee cap with the leg bent slightly forward. Ideal fit is to have the players knee fit into the middle knee roll. Using a soft measuring tape, take the end of the tape and place it on the "knot" of Y our ankle bone. Locate the center of the knee cap. Have the person being fitted take their hand to cup their knee. Then, locate the center spot on the kneecap. Take the soft tape and measure from the "knot" on the ankle, at an angle, to the center spot of the kneecap. Always fit goal pads while wearing skates. Kneel down into each pad making sure the kneecap is in the middle of the knee roll. After securing all the straps, the pad should extend from the toe of the skate to approximately 4" above the knee |
